DESTINI Annual Report 2026

ELECTRICITY IN OUR OPERATING FOOTPRINT FY2026 is the first year in which all 14 entities reported through our GHG data collection. Purchased electricity totalled 876,633 kWh across seven metered accounts: 656,970 kWh in Malaysia and 219,663 kWh at our overseas operations. FY2024 and FY2025 figures were compiled for a narrower set of sites, so the increase reflects the wider boundary rather than higher consumption. Solar generation rose 3.5% to 132,135 kWh from 127,665 kWh. We present the two measures separately because our metering does not yet show how much solar electricity was consumed on site and how much was exported to the grid. Three-year electricity and solar data Reporting basis Purchased electricity and solar generation are reported as separate measures. Solar output is not deducted from grid purchases, because the underlying records do not show the share consumed on site or exported. Location-based Scope 2 emissions for our Malaysian sites are calculated using the Energy Commission’s provisional 2024 grid emission factor for Peninsular Malaysia (0.740 tCO₂e/MWh), which we also apply to FY2024 and FY2025 so the series is consistent. Overseas electricity uses the relevant grid factor: Singapore 0.402 tCO₂e/MWh (Energy Market Authority, 2024), Western Australia 0.53 (Australian National Greenhouse Accounts Factors), Dubai 0.4041 (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) and China 0.5366 (Ministry of Ecology and Environment).
