OUR REPORTED EMISSIONS PROFILE Destini’s GHG emissions for FY2026 totalled 729.18 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO₂e) across Scope 1, 2 and 3. Purchased electricity accounted for 81.9% of this total, making it by far the largest source. Shared accounts at Shah Alam The shared Shah Alam electricity account (298,140 kWh) and the shared water account (5,331 cubic metres, m³) serve seven entities that occupy the same building and share one bill. Each account is therefore counted once in the Group total; for entity-level reporting, the shared consumption is allocated by headcount. Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions The total comprises Scope 1 emissions of 103.43 tCO₂e, location-based Scope 2 emissions of 597.30 tCO₂e and Scope 3 emissions of 28.45 tCO₂e. Scope 1 comes mainly from company vehicles (99.80 tCO₂e), calculated from distance travelled, with the balance from petrol used at Railtec (3.46 tCO₂e) and fuel oil used at Hijau Baiduri (0.17 tCO₂e). Scope 2 comes from purchased electricity, which remains the largest share. Scope 3 covers purchased water (Category 1, 2.71 tCO₂e) and waste and wastewater (Category 5, 25.75 tCO₂e), with waste sent to landfill making up 25.28 tCO₂e; figures may not add due to rounding. Overseas electricity Overseas operations account for 111.14 tCO₂e of Scope 2. Vanguarde’s Singapore and Nantong sites used 167,353 kWh, metered as one combined figure; until consumption is split by site, we apply the higher China grid factor to the whole amount (89.80 tCO₂e), so the figure is, if anything, slightly overstated. Comparison with prior years FY2025 emissions were 106.16 tCO₂e (Scope 1), 250.46 tCO₂e (Scope 2, recalculated using the 0.740 factor) and 187.86 tCO₂e (Scope 3), a total of 544.48 tCO₂e. The two years’ Scope 3 figures are not comparable: FY2025 covers business travel and employee commuting, while FY2026 covers purchased water, wastewater and waste. For FY2024 only Scope 2 (234.81 tCO₂e) is available, so no total is presented.
