DESTINI Annual Report 2026

SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT OUR SUSTAINABILITY PRIORITIES IN PRACTICE Our priorities address the resource demands of engineering work, the safety and capability of our people, and the conduct expected in commercial decisions. ENVIRONMENT AND RESOURCE USE Purchased electricity accounts for 81.9% of our reported greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, making it the single largest source. Solar arrays at our corporate premises generate renewable electricity on site, and we track water use and waste recovery across our premises. PEOPLE AND SAFE WORKING Railtec and Destini Prima account for 96% of the hours worked across the Group. Protecting these employees and retaining their technical expertise is fundamental to how both businesses operate. FY2026 activities included management and executive development, safety training and Emergency Response Team training at Destini Berhad. GOVERNANCE AND BUSINESS CONDUCT The Board, its committees and management each have defined oversight and operating responsibilities. Our Board Charter and our policies on conduct, anti-corruption, whistleblowing and human rights set the standards we expect. Those standards apply to procurement, contract commitments and every dealing with external parties. CLIMATE AND THE BUSINESS MODEL The transition to a low-carbon economy could change energy prices, customer specifications and the technical capability we need to invest in. Flooding and other physical hazards could disrupt our premises, suppliers and transport routes. Our climate section examines these exposures using Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) scenarios and Malaysian hazard data. COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS Education-related contributions, the Railtec clean-up and GIATMARA Negeri Sembilan’s visit were among our FY2026 community activities, reflecting the relationships our businesses maintain where they operate.
