DESTINI Annual Report 2026

OUR APPROACH TO SUSTAINABILITY Our approach to sustainability reflects what an engineering business needs to stay competitive: keep technical capability sharp, adapt as customer technology changes, and manage the effects of our operations on people and the environment. Our ESG Policy sets the foundation for these responsibilities. STRENGTHEN THE CORE Our core engineering services depend on equipment that meets specification and work delivered right first time. Safety, competent people and reliable access to specialist parts protect that capability. A late component or a shortage of qualified staff can delay a service milestone and, with it, the payment attached to it. That operational reality shapes our sustainability priorities. CAPITALISE ON TECHNOLOGY AND INFORMATION Customer assets are evolving, yet existing equipment will need support for years to come. We plan for the skills, tools and qualifications both will require, and our climate review considers how the pace of technological change could shift investment and demand. EMBED SUSTAINABILITY IN OUR CULTURE Our ESG Policy requires occupational safety, environmental and social impacts to be assessed, addressed and monitored. In practice, this shapes how we use workshop resources, the conditions our people work in and the way we carry out customer work. BUILD REGIONAL AND GLOBAL CONNECTIONS Our Malaysian businesses and our overseas operations under Techno Fibre and Vanguarde serve different markets. That reach brings opportunity, but also exposure to differences in electricity supply, logistics, currencies and local regulation. DEVELOP HIGH-PERFORMANCE PARTNERSHIPS Technical delivery relies on customers, technology partners, suppliers and training organisations. In FY2026 we engaged with MIGHT, the Technology Depository Agency, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) railway leaders and GIATMARA. SUSTAINABILITY DESTINI BERHAD 49 ANNUAL REPORT 2026
