Our Business

Connecting the Grid to Where Power Is Needed

Our substation engineering services bring together EPCC, civil and structural engineering, and electrical and mechanical engineering capabilities to support the development of power substations connecting the utility grid to end-user premises.

Our capabilities span design and planning, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning, providing customers with coordinated solutions from project commencement through to handover.

EPCC Services

Our EPCC capabilities cover the design and engineering of civil, structural, electrical and mechanical systems; cabling and interconnections; construction of substation buildings; procurement and installation of transformers, switchgear and other major electrical equipment; electrical and mechanical works; testing and commissioning; and other project-specific requirements.

Civil & Structural Engineering

We undertake groundwork and site preparation required for substation development, including excavation, land grading, foundations, fencing, grounding works, roadworks and building construction.

Our scope may also include structural and architectural works and associated building services required to create safe and compliant environments for power infrastructure facilities.

Electrical & Mechanical Engineering

Our electrical and mechanical engineering capabilities include the design, integration, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems for substations.

This encompasses project planning, power system analysis, equipment selection and procurement, installation management, testing and commissioning through to project handover.

At SKA Capital, we combine engineering expertise, innovation, and reliability to deliver power infrastructure solutions built for lasting performance.
