TRADE AND OTHER PAYABLES (CONTINUED) 24.1 Included in other payables of the Group: (i) In the previous financial year, a refundable deposit of RM30,768,000 related to assets classified as held for sale was initially translated from the foreign currency into the Group’s functional currency at the spot rate on the transaction date. At the end of the previous reporting period, the refundable deposit balance was RM28,977,000, which was retranslated at the closing rate. (ii) Amount due to related parties of approximately RM11,289,000 (2024: RM11,268,000), represents unsecured, interest-free advances and repayable on demand, except for advances to related parties amounting to approximately RM1,266,000 (2024: RM1,266,000) which bore interest at 4% (2024: 4%) per annum. 25.
