This pipeline crossed distinct areas, each with its own challenges. Construction and installation of the pipeline through plantation areas proved to be quite straightforward, but it was an entirely different story when it came to installing the pipeline through paddy fields, alongside existing live pipelines, unstable soils prone to soil erosion and through a congested industrial zone with high voltage electricity cables to navigate and strict shut-down protocols whilst adhering to rigid safety procedures.
