PT Wasco was selected by Siemens France to design and build three blast rated 110KV HV GIS substations for the Tengizchevroil (TCO) Area Project, Kazakhstan. This fast track project was successfully completed and was delivered wihtin the schedule time. The project was also executed with very high safety standards, working over 1.06 million manhours without LTI and was delivered with no outstanding punch items from Wasco. Wasco's scope included: Engineering design for A60 rating and EAC standards, Partial Procurement, Construction, Painting, Architectural Work, Electrical & Instrumentation Installation, Interconnection cabling & termination, HVAC System Installation, Installation of Available Free Issued Equipment (GIS equipment, MV & LV Switchgears), Installation and Commissioning of over-head crane within the GIS room, F&G and Telecom System, MC and ocumentation, Pre Commissioning, HVAC, F&G, Lighting & Small Power systems, Precommissioning & Commissioning, IFAT/ SAT & Commissioning Assistance for FIE (GIS equipment, MV & LV Switchgears). The Average weight of each substation was 1050 Tons, 1st cut took place on 1st November 2017 and all 3 buildings were completed and ready to ship by November 2018 meaning that overall construction took just one year.
