\"\" Sustainable Fish Supply<\/p>\n

IFC is committed to ensuring a sustainable supply of fish for future generations and all our fish supplies are caught responsibly or in a sustainable way.\u00a0We are committed to only purchase from socially responsible vendors and our sourcing policy excludes sourcing fish from unhealthy stocks and destructive fisheries. We also engaged with key stakeholders to develop a common understanding of the issues facing the industry.<\/p>\n

IFC was issued Marine Stewardship Council certificate in 2016 and the Dolphin Safe (Earth Island Institute) certificate in 2010. Consumers are guaranteed that IFC\u2019s products come from sustainable and well-managed sources.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner]

We can trace from ship to shelf. In this regard, IFC has played a proactive role in collaborating with suppliers, customers and relevant authorities and ensuring that IFC\u2019s fishery products do not contain illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fish.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner]

\"\" Safety and Quality of Products<\/p>\n

<\/div>[vc_column_text css_animation=”boc_animate_when_almost_visible boc_right-to-left”]The demand of food safety is growing where consumers and authorities increasingly demand the food offers high levels of quality. IFC is accredited with, certifications from the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and International Food Standards (IFS) certifications. The certifications are a testament to IFC\u2019s high level of competence in HACCP, GMP hygiene, food safety and quality systems.<\/p>\n

In addition, IFC\u2019s production facilities, suppliers of ingredients and packaging materials are required to comply with government regulations and company policies, procedures, controls, and good manufacturing practices applicable to their operations. To ensure compliance with these requirements, we are subject to a number of audits and inspections. This includes (but not limited to) audits and inspections conducted by various government agencies such as the National Fisheries Authority of Papua New Guinea; audits conducted by customers and annual audits performed by independent third-party organizations. This is in addition to the audits conducted for certification standards such as BRC, IFC and MSC.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner]

\"\" Halal Certification<\/p>\n

<\/div>[vc_column_text css_animation=”boc_animate_when_almost_visible boc_left-to-right”]Our products are certified as \u201cHalal\u201d by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia or JAKIM (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia). Halal certification means that a product\u2019s contents and manufacture has been endorsed by an appropriate religious authority as meeting the Islamic requirements relating to food.
