Destini is an engineering business, and two responsibilities sit at the centre of how we work: the equipment we supply and maintain must perform when it is needed, and the people who do that work must go home safe. Our approach to sustainability starts there. Our year in perspective This Sustainability Statement reports the environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance of Destini Berhad and its subsidiaries (“Destini” or “the Group”) for the financial year ended 30 June 2026 (FY2026). Our aviation and defence, energy, mobility and marine businesses serve customers whose operations depend on specialist equipment and the technical people who keep it running. We set out the resources our work consumes, how we develop and protect our workforce and how the business is governed. We also explain how climate-related risks and shifts in customer requirements could affect our costs, assets and ability to deliver contracts – the issues most relevant to investors assessing Destini’s prospects. Scope and reporting period The statement covers 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026 and consolidates 14 reporting units: Destini Berhad’s corporate office and the Malaysian and overseas subsidiaries shown in our governance structure. Two of these, Destini Mobility Sdn. Bhd. and Halaman Optima Sdn. Bhd., were inactive during the year, with one caretaker each. Where an indicator covers only part of the Group – a single entity, site or activity – the boundary is stated alongside the data. Reporting references This statement is prepared in accordance with the sustainability reporting requirements of Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market Listing Requirements and with reference to Bursa Malaysia’s Sustainability Reporting Guide (3rd Edition), including its Common Sustainability Matters and Indicators. Under the National Sustainability Reporting Framework (NSRF), Destini is a Group 2 issuer, and IFRS S1 General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information and IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures apply from our financial year beginning 1 July 2026 (FY2027). To prepare, the index at the end of this statement maps our FY2026 disclosures to IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 paragraph codes. Indicators are shown for FY2024, FY2025 and FY2026; FY2024 was an 18-month financial period, so its figures are not directly comparable with the two 12-month years that follow. Internal review and external assurance All sustainability data in this statement has been reviewed internally before publication. Supporting documents were available for most Malaysian activity data; some figures from overseas and smaller entities are reported as submitted and have not yet been checked against source documents. The statement has not been subject to independent external assurance. Engaging with Destini Shareholders can engage with Destini through our investor-relations website, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and investor briefings. In FY2026 Destini held the AGM on 2 December 2025 and three investor briefings; the June briefing was combined with a site visit to M Rail Technics Sdn. Bhd. (“Railtec”) in Seremban.
