PERFORMANCE CHAIRMAN'S STATEMENT FY2027: Ready to Rise Destini enters FY2027 with a secured order book of RM1.01 billion as at 30 June 2026, a sound balance sheet with net gearing of 0.32 times and a clearer strategic direction. These provide a platform from which to pursue the Group’s priorities while maintaining discipline in capital allocation and working capital management. Mobility will remain the key growth driver. The Group's rail portfolio now covers every level of maintenance, repair and overhaul, and we will deepen this capability through digital technology and wider partnerships. Energy will benefit from long-term contracts that provide steady, predictable activity, and the Group will continue to pursue new opportunities in this segment. In Aviation & Defence, Management will focus on progressing contract revisions and renewals, improving operational efficiency and pursuing new opportunities. Marine will undergo a strategic review during the year, with the Board considering the options available to maximise value for shareholders. We will update shareholders once the review reaches its conclusions. Throughout, Destini will maintain its financial discipline and allocate capital prudently, ensuring that growth is funded responsibly and shareholder value is protected. On this basis, the Board expects a better year ahead in FY2027, supported by a secured order book and rising activity across our principal segments. Appreciation On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank our shareholders for their continued support and confidence in Destini as we navigate an important period of recalibration and build a stronger foundation for the Group’s next phase of growth. The interim dividend paid in May 2026 reflects our commitment to delivering value to shareholders as we progress on this journey. To our 515 colleagues across Malaysia, Singapore, China, Australia and the Middle East: you kept our depots, workshops and offshore sites running through a year of considerable change, and you did so without a single losttime incident. That record belongs to you. To our customers, partners, financiers and regulators, thank you for the confidence you continue to place in this Group. Finally, to my fellow Directors and the management team, led now by Dato’ Sri Dr. Shahril Bin Mokhtar, thank you for facing this year with grit and for the discipline with which you are strengthening Destini for the future. Thank you. Dato' Seri DiRaja Syed Razlan Ibni Syed Putra Independent Non-Executive Chairman PERFORMANCE DESTINI BERHAD 32 ANNUAL REPORT 2026
